Christine Humbles joined Delaware Cardiovascular Associates as a Nurse Practitioner in May 2023.

She grew up in Peoria, Illinois, where she attended Bradley University.
She graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and a Minor in Health Science in 2002.
She then went to work at Methodist Medical Center (now Carle Health Methodist Hospital),as a Mental Health Associate.
While working as a Mental Health Associate Christine pursued her Nursing Career and graduated from Methodist College of Nursing with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2009.
Since nursing school she always had an interest in both critical care and cardiovascular nursing.


After graduating from Methodist College of Nursing, she went to work in the Heart and Vascular Institute at Methodist Medical Center as a cardiovascular nurse.
In 2010 She decided to make the move to Delaware, where she continued her passion for critical care and worked as an OR nurse for many specialties including vascular and cardiac care.
In 2015 she wanted to extend her nursing career and decided to go back to school, and graduated from Purdue University in 2018 with her Masters of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner with a focus in Primary Care.


As a Nurse Practitioner Christine continued to have an interest in cardiovascular medicine and continued to work in cardiology.
She is an active member for the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Outside of work, Christine spends most of her time with her daughter and goes back to Illinois to spend time with family and friends as much as she can. She currently resides in Pike Creek, Delaware.
